There I was 32 weeks pregnant with my daughter (3rd child) and dreading having to repeat the hospital delivery again. I had had a terrible experience with the nurses and doctor in delivering my son (2nd child) Basically I had to conform to their agenda whether I was comfortable with it or not which included not even getting to lay on the side that was most comfortable for me, just because the baby wasn’t moving around as much on the other side. I was getting more and more anxious the closer it got to my due date until a friend suggested that I try a midwifery. I loved the idea and started to look around for the nearest one. While on the web I found Margarett’s site and couldn’t believe that I could deliver at HOME. I was ecstatic. That was exactly what I had wanted but didn’t think that there were anymore midwives that still did that. I was also very impressed with all her training. Needless to say, to be able to give birth to my daughter in the comfort of my own home surrounded by the people I love was wonderful. Margarett was terrific. She’s such a sweet person and you can tell that she really cares about each person, baby and family. By the time the baby was delivered I felt like she was part of our family. Her presence was very comforting to me, knowing that she had delivered hundreds of babies before mine. I knew that baby Hannah and I were in very good hands. She knew all the tricks to making me as comfortable and relaxed as possible which made the delivery go so much smoother and faster.
We are definitely having Margarett deliver our next child.
