​We are the only free standing birth center in Iowa. At our center we combine faith, holistic care, and evidence-based practices with a strong focus on health and prevention.
As a certified herbalist and a midwife trained in functional maternity medicine, we offer families a birth experience that nurtures not only the body but also the spirit. Our care is deeply rooted in God’s design, and we guide families on a journey that honors the sacredness of life through personalized wellness plans, natural remedies, and a faith-filled approach to health.
Our Services
Maternity Care
Our visits at Heaven Sent Homebirth are individualized and comfy. We offer all the same standard testing & screening options for pregnancy, with a focus on informed consent.

With longer appointment times, our Midwife has time to get to know you, your family, health history and goals. This gives her the ability to provide recommendations that are more individualized. We recommend natural therapies earlier and often to promote good health and prevent complications.
Birth Center & Homebirth
Whether you choose to give birth at home or in our cozy community birth center, your experience is centered on comfort, safety, and trust.
We provide skilled midwifery care, waterbirth options, and the freedom to labor in the ways that feel right for you. Our birth center suites offer a peaceful, home-like space, while homebirth allows you to stay in your own environment.
Herbal Shop & Natural Remedies
Our in-house shop offers carefully curated herbs, teas, tinctures, and natural remedies created specifically for pregnancy and postpartum wellness.
We also carry some of the highest quality prenatal vitamins and supplements on the market — hand-selected by your certified herbalist midwife for safety, purity, and effectiveness. From immune-support blends to postpartum recovery essentials, our products are designed to nourish your body and support you through every stage of motherhood.
